One topic that doesn't seem to come up here quite enough is the situation of young progressives in the Democratic Party - what we should be doing, what needs to be done and isn't being done, etc.
So, say you become one of the student leaders of College Democrats tomorrow - either president of a big, influential state federation, or an officer in the national CDA board - what do you do? What do you pour your resources into? How do you manage your state? What do you push for? Essentially, what isn't being done that should be.
I'm really curious what people think on this count, especially because so many college-age kids I know sorta roll their eyes at College Democrats. What do you do in their position? Any general thoughts on the state of the CD union would be much appreciated.
